Greene Contemporary is proud to announce AARON BOARD, an exhibition of paintings by 34 year old, local artist, Aaron Board. Board received his BFA from Auburn University in 1996 and his MFA from New York Academy of Art in 1999. From 2003-2005 Board was a visiting faculty member at the Ringling School of Art and Design.
Board has exhibited in New York, New Mexico, Ohio, Washington and Florida over the past six years and his work is included in over 30 private collections across the United States and internationally.
Board's large-scale, oil on canvas works draw the viewer into a world that must be discussed. It is a world that combines astounding painting technique with variegated, messaged content to ensure that the viewer will react.
