GREENE CONTEMPORARY will participate in two important ART FAIRS during ART WEEK in Miami Tuesday December 4th through Sunday December 9th 2007. Greene Contemporary was chosen from thousands of applicants to be one of just 100 galleries from all over the world to participate in Art Miami this year. Greene Contemporary competed with an equal number of galleries to be accepted to participate in the Bridge Art Fair Miami. The gallery recently returned from a successful week at Bridge London. Jonathan Greene said "the Fairs are a significant part of the gallery's profile to be representing important new contemporary work to a world-wide audience." He added "the London experience was very positive." Greene looks forward to showing work on Collins Avenue on Miami Beach and in the Wynwood Art District on the mainland just minutes over the causeway. "We should capture a significant segment of the market with these two positions" he stated.
At Art Miami Greene Contemporary will feature the paintings of Paul Lorenz and Syd Solomon as well as the sculpture and drawing of Ned Smyth. There will also be works available by Brian Haverlock. From December 4-9 Art Miami will be housed in a spectacular temporary structure in the Wynwood Art District. Situated at NW 2nd Avenue between 22nd and 23rd Streets, the dramatic 100,000 square foot custom-designed, air-conditioned pavilion will host 100 international galleries. Quality dining and ample lounge space - in addition to easy parking - will provide visitors with plenty of amenities.
